In this episode, I’m getting personal and sharing the WHY behind this podcast. I delve into the reality of the maternal mortality rates in the U.S. — especially for Black women. I also address the history of childbirth in America to see clearly the transition over time. Ultimately, the hope of Jesus motivates me to lean into the Lord through prayer, but also to get out there and do the work of educating and supporting families for redemption and God’s glory!
