If you have ever heard whale song before you are likely to agree that it is beautiful, and can be quite powerful. So what if we took these incredible singers (along with dolphins too!) and added our own music to it - all for a greater cause?

In the search of helping people to practice mindfulness, improve mental health, and to raise awareness for the protection of our oceans, Joshua Sam Miller has created Sounds of The Ocean - An artistic exploration of natural sounds, music, and stunning visuals to inspire conservation action on a global scale. Join me chatting with Joshua all about this project and what it can mean for ocean conservation!

    A note:
This episode got posted a touch late (damn life gets in the way sometimes!) so you can't catch Sounds of the Ocean on Tardigrade anymore but do follow them on socials to keep an eye out for where you can join them next on their world tour!

General show notes for the show!

For new listeners, this podcast is “Serious about research, and less serious about delivery” because our mission has always been approachability and a real-world approach to issues...

Please note I do not do a lot of editing and minor swearing comes up from time to time in episodes, so we hope you can sit back, learn something, and have a laugh with us!

The Anthropo Scene is an independent project started by young ecologists who are passionate about sharing interesting information surrounding the complicated story of introduced and invasive species around the world. It has now opened up to include more topics about Ecology, biology, conservation, and the interesting, and often complicated, ways that humans interact with nature.

Original music and audio edition for Season 3 by the talented Garret Baker from Quiet Sun Productions

This podcast continues in the loving memory of Nicholas McCarney.
