  • The Giants made some news with the recent signing of quarterback Jameis Winston. He's certainly an upgrade over Tommy DeVito at QB1, but given his career W-L record, how much can Giants fans really expect from Winston?

    Everyone knows that you can never have enough pitching, and based upon some of what we've seen this spring, the Mets are Exhibit One. They used nine pitchers in Monday's Spring Training game against the Yankees, with mixed results.

    Every MLB team has a tendency to overrate their prospects (the Mets, Yankees, and Red Sox especially), but the feeling here is that the Yankees made a critical mistake two years ago rushing Anthony Volpe to the majors. Based upon his minor league stats, the Red Sox are in serious danger of doing the exact same thing with the #7 MLB prospect in rookie Kristian Campbell.

    Jim Monaghan and Chris Swendeman touch on all of that, plus Swendy has a rather unique idea on a pitcher the Yankees might want to take a look at.
