    When we know better, we do better. And as we grow more deeply in ourselves and more grounded in our truth, we find that some of the things, behaviors, people and tendencies that we used to accept, that we used to enjoy and that we used to readily embrace, some of the things we used to settle for… well we find that they no longer serve us. They no longer align with the person that we are growing into. And that’s okay. This is a natural part of the process of growth. Along with growth, comes a natural tendency to OUTGROW things, people and places.

    Change is NEARLY ALWAYS accompanied with some level of discomfort, some level of resistance. And this resistance, this discomfort IT’S A NORMAL PART of the process of change. Your body is constantly trying to level out, to maintain its own sense of homeostasis, and so sometimes when we do things differently, when we branch out and away from our normal patterns, it sends kind of like a shock, a false alarm through your nervous system. And that’s where this feeling of resistance come from. Shifting into something new, can sometimes feel like a threat to your nervous system, but in reality the only threat occurring is you challenging that baseline.

I have specifically designed this meditation to really help us to INTEGRATE some of the material from last week’s podcast episode "Challenging our Limiting Beliefs as we Challenge our Negative Self-Talk".

    I designed this episode to support us in RELEASING any of our unhelpful or unsupportive self-talk tenencies. It is my hope that this mediation practice supports you in your healing journey with shadow work.     What if I told you our self-talk tells us the stories and narratives behind our beliefs, our behaviors and our actions. What if I told you that that inner dialogue has BOTH the capacity to propel you forward, to encourage you, to motivate you, and to comfort you in times of pain, BUT that inner dialogue of ours, it also has the capacity to hold us back, to keep us stuck frozen in fear, it has the capacity to keep us stuck in the repetitive patterns and cycles we find ourselves in?

    Do you ever question that inner dialogue, challenge it maybe even, when you notice that its unhelpful or harmful? Did you know that you can actually TRAIN that inner dialogue, that self-talk to better serve you and your needs.
