This week's guest Inaya Folarin Iman. Inaya is the founder of The Equiano Project (link: https://www.theequianoproject.com/), a debate, discussion and ideas forum aimed at forging a new narrative around race. She is also a well known political commentator, and a director of the Free Speech Union.
We discuss the importance of free speech, the threats to it, and why Inaya thinks the Black Lives Matter movement is not only incorrect in its assumptions but divisive and disempowering for black people.
This episode is part of our series of shows focussed on the Black Lives Matter movement. Watch the first episode in that series, with Associate Prof. Wilfred Reilly, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bt88... , or listen to it as a podcast.
