Have you heard of NVHAP? Nope, I hadn't either.. (can you guess who works primarily with pediatrics?) Take a listen to learn more about this and learn from this incredible leader in our field.. did I mention she is affiliated with many organizations, universities, and starting her own business! This SLP does more in a day than I most likely do in a month.. check her out!

  • Leanna Vollintine: Chronic Pain, Running a Business & The Overlap
    2022/12/29

Today we sit down with Leanna Vollintine for PART 2! Part Two is all about what chronic pain is and how it affects those with the diagnosis in their day to day. We also discuss how this can affect running a business. Our biggest take away from the episode is to have open communication with parents/families that you work with to remind them that you are a person as well! Take that time off, run a little late, take a nap.. but don't feel bad about it (or do it often)! So whether you are a chronic pain sufferer or not, this episode will be helpful to you starting a business :)

Remember this is PART 2, so go listen to PART 1 for more of Leanna and her amazing personality!
