After 8 years in that field, I fell in love with acting and never looked back. I’ve played a range of roles, including a neurologist in a hospital-based series and a homicide detective in Scripts, a lead known for her dry humor and sharp intuition. I’m currently developing a romantic drama, a rom-com, and a chilling short film—all with festival goals. Outside of acting, I’m a foodie, nature lover, and passionate about health, justice, and rebuilding my homeland.

Growing up in Newark, NJ, Julie learned the importance of beauty and strength from her Haitian mother. It was through her mother's vivid stories about growing up in Haiti that her passion for beauty was born. In order to make her own makeup, her mother used roses, coal, and anything else she could get her hands on. As a result of her mother's stories, Julie changed the way she defined beauty for herself. The example of her mother working long hours every day to provide the best possible lifestyle was the blueprint for Julie's success!

Hi, my name is Marchell. I was raised in Florida and Georgia by business owners. As a young girl growing up, a lot of the ingredients I selected in my products were influenced by my Jamaican and Panamanian roots. In Jamaica and Panama they use a lot of natural healing remedies, ingredients from plants, fruits and herbs.

LOHV Essentials came about in 2020. At the time I was a single mother, laid off after years of dedicated time at my job. I was depressed and I completely lost myself. Starting my skincare routine is one of the things that helped me build my confidence to get up and try again at life. During this time I built my relationship with God, it helped me to seek who I am within and my purpose in life.

I use to have heavy dark circles around my eyes, my skin complexion was uneven, and I would have bad allergic reactions to product ingredients on my skin.
