In Christ, we are remade into His image-bearers. What is our purpose in that? We are taking Him with us as we go through our daily lives and we are telling people what we believe about Him even when we are not saying anything.

Creation is an enormous thing! When we sometimes feel the need to take ourselves away from the stress or anxiety of what is going on around us...we need to trust that God created this world and when we view him through the lens as Creator, don't forget He is also in control...in a way that we can't be.

When we find rest and assurance comes naturally with a dependence on God and God alone, we recognize it as the peace that only He can bring us.

It is really not selfish to take the time to be intentional and reset with rest. We shouldn't push the responsibility of our lack of rest onto other things. We should take ownership of the spaces in our life that we could in fact use to create margin and rest.
