    I truly adored this film. It's not a particularly long film, and it didn't need to be. The filming with the direction was different. This isn't the case if you want to watch a slasher horror film. It's also not a typical jump-scare movie. It's the narrative of a family. It's a little dysfunctional household. The cast is fantastic. Love Sullivan. He's the ideal understanding and caring father who wants to keep his family together. The camera shots may cause dizziness at first, but you'll grow used to it shortly.     There's an old proverb, borrowed from one of our holiest writings, that all geeks know well: "As sure as day follows night," it says, "sure as eggs is eggs, sure as every odd-numbered Star Trek movie is shit". Section 31 is technically "Star Trek 14," so we should have a winner. Unfortunately, it doesn't suit the pattern. That's possible because this direct-to-Paramount+ special never seems like a film. It's more analogous to the double TV episodes they used to put together for VHS distribution, albeit it falls well short of the greatest of them. In The Family Plan and Role Play, marriages are tested because one of the members has acted as a contract killer or continues to do so. However, covert spies are excellent subjects for such novels. Spy Kids is an obvious analogy for Back in Action. In all situations, a retired couple is caught up in the past, and the children are surprised since they would never have predicted it.
