  • 4PM: Barry Alvarez Rips Jim Rutledge!
    2024/09/17
Jim Rutledge and Molly Brown start Tuesday's show with the two biggest storylines in Wisconsin sports: Barry Alvarez going off on Jim during last night's Great Dane Huddle for his "ridiculous" and "preposterous" poll on Twitter, and Jesse Nelson once again skipping his show to slide down Bernie Brewer's slide at Am Fam Field!!! First, Primetime plays the audio of Barry's aggressive, but misunderstood, reaction to Jim's poll asking Badgers fans who they wish was the team's head coach right now (even though it should unequivocally be Luke Fickell). And, was Jim actually MISQUOTED by Alex Gravatt when he presented the poll question to Barry!?!? Jim and Primetime explain why they turned down the invite for Bernie's slide, and why does Primetime have no one to go with for tonight's Badgers volleyball game at the Kohl Center versus Marquette? Is Prime a loser for possibly going alone, and can ESPN Wisconsin find him a companion before the first serve at tonight's match? They also react to the news that Packers rookie RB Marshawn Lloyd is going on IR, and Jim makes the case to Gutey: SIGN MELVIN GORDON (to the practice squad)! Molly asks if having an experienced vet like Melvin could be good for the young players in the Packers RB room, including Josh Jacobs. They also get into Brad Nortman's top-5 NFL head coach rankings released yesterday. Does Matt LaFleur deserve to be included after winning JUST ONE GAME without his starting quarterback Jordan Love?

  • 5PM: Join Primetime for the I-94 Rivalry
    2024/09/17
Jim Rutledge & Molly Brown roll on discussing where Matt LaFleur ranks among the NFL's top head coaches after his "masterful" win with Malik Willis against the Colts. Jim makes the case that one win without your starting QB doesn't prove anything, and does any other current HC have the case to be in the same tier as Andy Reid and Kyle Shanahan? They also continue holding Jesse Nelson AND Matt Hamilton accountable for not being on their respective shows this week. Who has a better excuse: Matt leaving to do color commentary on the North American Curling Club Championships or Jesse leaving to slide down Bernie Brewer's slide at Am Fam Field... Throwing Stones includes takes on the true criteria of a "home-wrecker" vs an "apartement-wrecker" and just how well Primetime cleans up when/if he tries. They wrap up talking to the slide aficiaonado Jesse and bus-thrower Alex G live from the Kohl Center ahead of tonight's big Badgers volleyball game versus Marquette!

  • Jason Wilde on JM&M
    2024/09/16
Despite some poor clock management, Jason Wilde joins for an abbreviated appearance to talk about the Packers' ugly win against Indy and if this was Matt LaFleur's best win as the Packers' HC? Is this gameplan replicable so long as Love is out, would the offense have looked different with Sean Clifford instead of Malik Willis, and is Josh Myers throwing up on the ball before snapping to Malik Willis the grossest thing he's ever heard of on a football field?

  • 4PM: Backup QB Week in Wisconsin Football!
    2024/09/16
Jim Rutledge & Molly Brown broadcast live from the Revive Restoration Golf Outing at the Nakoma Golf Course. They get into a big weekend of backup quarterbacks playing for the Wisconsin football teams, including Malik Willis hopping on board for a 16-10 win versus the Colts and Braedyn Locke being pushed into action during Saturday's 42-10 home beatdown versus No. 4 Alabama. First, they begin reacting to the Metro Kia Breaking news that Badgers QB Tyler Van Dyke will officially miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, per Colten Bartholomew of the Wisconsin State Journal and Pete Thamel of ESPN's reporting. Would Saturday's loss have gone any differently if TVD hadn't been hurt on the opening drive, and will Locke or true freshman Mabrey Mettauer be the starting QB by the end of the season? They get into the disgusting win for the Packers vs the Colts, as Green Bay was finally able to win with its defense and special teams. They get into the historic rushing performance for Josh Jacobs, and the strong early returns on safety Xavier McKinney. First, they have to break down the headline of the game: Josh Myers vomiting on the football before snapping it to Malik Willis in the first half! What bodily fluid is most disgusting to have on a football: vomit, pee or blood? Despite some poor clock management, Jason Wilde joins for an abbreviated appearance to talk about the Packers' ugly win against Indy and if this was Matt LaFleur's best win as the Packers' HC? Is this gameplan replicable so long as Love is out, would the offense have looked different with Sean Clifford instead of Malik Willis, and is Josh Myers throwing up on the ball before snapping to Malik Willis the grossest thing he's ever heard of on a football field? Jim & Molly wrap up talking about the "musk/mist" of football players, and the re-visit their predictions from last Friday's debut of "Don't Quote Me"!

  • 5PM: Still InVESTed in Luke Fickell
    2024/09/16
Jim Rutledge & Molly Brown roll into Hour 2 with Molly ALREADY looking ahead on the Packers' schedule. After winning 16-10 with Malik Willis under center (and thanks to the running game and defense), why is Molly nervous about the team's chances against Tennessee this coming Sunday? Jim & Molly bounce back to the Badgers to re-visit surging criticisms for Luke Fickell after his team got an "old fashioned ass whooping" versus No. 4 Alabama. With Tyler Van Dyke now out for the season and the team still searching for its identity, are we still sure about the direction of Fickell's program, is Mabrey Mettauer the future of the program, and is the team at risk of missing a bowl game for the first time in 23 years with Braedyn Locke at QB? Throwing Stones includes takes on Deion Sanders' salt-n-peppa beard, why do home expenses KEEP going up, and Jim shouts down the Paul Chryst stans once more. They wrap up with Jim getting on Matt Hamilton for abandoning the show this week for his curling color commentary debut!
