I was moved multiple times during this interview. This week’s podcast episode brings you Gil Hedley. Gil has profound reverence and insight on the human body, anatomy, and embodiment. Over the past 27 years, he has spent hundreds of hours of Hands-On Human Dissection Workshops in the laboratory. He has a background with a Ph.D. in Theological Ethics, Rolfing, and psychodynamics and energy healing. Through his combined interests and training, he has developed an integral approach to the study of human anatomy.
It was a tremendous honor to get to interview Gil for the podcast. I have been following Gil’s work for years. As many of you know, earlier this year, I participated in a cadaver dissection lab. One of the primary motivating factors behind my decision to pursue that experience was from listening to a handful of interviews with Gil and being taken aback by his deep reverence and amazement for the human body as he speaks.
Gil is currently on his Nerve Tour, which I was fortunate to attend here in Boulder, Colorado just this past weekend. He is likely coming to a city near you. Check out the tour dates here, if you’re someone who is curious to better understand the nervous system, I highly encourage you to check it out.
At the very least, take a peek at Gil’s website and consider becoming an Explorer member. He has an abundance of dissection videos and more so that you can better understand your own anatomy.
