  • Diluted: The Release of Robert Courtney
    2024/07/19

Disgraced Kansas City pharmacist Robert Courtney will be released from federal prison to home confinement on July 31, 2024. He was supposed to serve 30 years, but instead, he's walking out after only 22 years.

Courtney was convicted back in 2002 of watering down medicine for money. Everything from eye drops to cancer treatments. Now, he's walking free because of a relatively new criminal reform law that allows non-violent criminals to get out of prison because of good behavior.

In this podcast, KCTV5 investigative reporter Angie Ricono takes you on a dramatic journey that spans more than a quarter of a century. She will share the stories of those who investigated Courtney, and hear from families who blame him for the death of their loved ones.
