In this pilot episode of the Kninja Knitter Podcast, host Ann (also known as roocmc on Ravelry and Instagram) introduces herself and her passion for knitting.
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Ann shares her experience as an avid knitter and her love for the knitting community, which has expanded her travel horizons to various parts of the world.
Ann discusses her plans for the podcast, including recording monthly episodes while she learns the ropes before moving to a semi-monthly schedule.
The podcast's primary focus will be on knitting, along with other fiber-related topics, such as crocheting, spinning, and weaving.
Podcast segments may include:
- "Stitched or Still-in-Progress" featuring finished projects and works-in-progress
- "Cast-on Conversations" to introduce new projects and upcoming plans.
- “Movie Moments” will cover movies, whether at the movie theater or at home, and television shows.
- “Bookish Banter” is for sharing books I’m reading or audio books I’m listening to.
- "Exploits in Exercise," talking about my personal fitness journey as well as sports I follow (FOOTBALL!)
- “Soundscape Sessions” covers music and theater
- “Grandson Glimpses” would be about the adventures with my toddler grandson, Zayne
- “Travel Tales” should be self-explanatory
- “Random Ramblings,” for anything that doesn’t fit into the other categories
Overall, the Kninja Knitter Podcast aims to create a welcoming space for Ann to share her love for knitting and connect with fellow fiber enthusiasts worldwide.
