サマリー
あらすじ・解説
Today, I have the joy of talking with my friend Nadia Ali - mom, entrepreneur, educator, and advocate for health and racial equity - about the importance of discomfort. I know- who wants to feel uncomfortable? Looking for and leaning into discomfort is not something that most of us do- in fact, the majority of you listening will have been raised in families where you were taught that discomfort was bad, wrong, or a sign of weakness - you may have been taught that the purpose of life is to achieve and maintain comfort at all times. Today, Nadia and I turn that upside down. We discuss where discomfort can take us, how to tell the difference between discomfort that is dangerous and discomfort that is wise. We look at the role of discomfort in good parenting. And we address the skills necessary for moving through discomfort toward growth and potential. At this time of political instability and high stress in this country, you don’t want to miss this conversation. We are so glad that you are here.
Nadia is a consultant, storyteller, facilitator, and team builder.
