The world is familiar… until it isn’t.

There are stories people laugh off—vampires, curses, things in the dark.

And somehow, these people end up in the same orbit:

Artemis “Art” Rathbone — a 55-year-old with a legendary vampire-hunting family… who absolutely did not plan on continuing the legacy. A theatrical, wine-loving mess of a man who looks like he wandered off a stage production and into the wrong genre. He insists he knows what he’s doing. He does not.

Bloop — a 32-year-old sentient slime who has failed at nearly every normal job a person can have. Blunt, insecure, and surprisingly deadly when he can squeeze into the right place at the right time. Vampire hunting is the first thing he’s ever been good at—and he’s holding onto it hard.

Leviticus “Greenbeans” Green — a 24-year-old academic and monster-slaying rationalist who does not believe in the supernatural… despite actively hunting it. Armed with data, skepticism, and a disturbing number of weaponized religious artifacts, he treats all of this like a research project he cannot afford to fail.

They are not a team.

They are not prepared.

They barely believe the same things about the world.

they’re here.

They’re vampire hunters now.

No plan. No trust. No idea what’s really out there.
