  • Episode 29: Start Before You're Ready with Kahja | Paradox of Impermanence + Stability
    2024/09/17

Hi! Welcome back! Season 4 of the Life I Love Podcast is all about paradoxes, and this month, we’re discussing the balance between impermanence and stability. On today’s episode, Start Before You're Ready, I’m honored to chat with Kahja Elliott.

Kahja is an East Coast transplant who has called the Bay Area home for the last 10 years. She’s a food enthusiast and influencer who believes the best way to know a place is through its food. In 2022, her passion led her to launch Kay In The Bay, a platform dedicated to creating community through food. Kahja is also the creator and host of The As Told By Podcast, where she interviews people across various intersections of the food industry.

In this episode, Kahja and I explore the paradox of impermanence and stability. She shares how trusting herself has empowered her to take big risks, even when she didn’t feel entirely ready, and how that leap of faith has led to some of her greatest successes. Kahja talks about navigating change while staying grounded and how starting before you’re ready has been a core principle that has helped her balance the fluidity of life with a sense of stability.

  • Episode 28: My Body Shut Down & I'm Ok | Impermanence + Stability
    2024/09/03

In this episode of the Life I Love Podcast, we're diving into the paradox of impermanence and stability—two concepts that may seem at odds but are deeply interconnected. I'll be sharing a personal story about how becoming a mom again after 12 years turned my world upside down. Determined to keep up with my usual go-getter routine, I pushed myself to the brink, only to have my body completely shut down.

But guess what? I’m okay. This experience taught me the importance of embracing life’s unpredictable changes while finding stability within. We’ll explore how moments of feeling lost can lead to unexpected growth and how our past, with all its ups and downs, can anchor us in ways we never imagined.

Plus, I’ll share a guided visualization to help you embrace impermanence and find your inner stability. Whether you’re navigating the chaos of life or just looking for a bit of grounding, this episode is for you. Tune in, and let's find the balance between change and consistency together.

    2024/08/20

Hi! Welcome back! Season 4 of the Life I Love Podcast is all about paradoxes, and this month we’re discussing the balance of suffering and peace. On today’s episode, Fight for Your Mental Health, I am honored to chat with Morgan.

Morgan Denise Frazier is a multifaceted artist, entrepreneur, lash artist, self-taught makeup artist, and skincare guru. She has transformed her passion for skincare, (which began as a personal hobby) into a platform that empowers men and women to understand their skin from the inside out and feel confident and bold in it. I first met Morgan in high school and we have stayed in touch over the years.

In this episode, Morgan and I discuss the paradox of suffering and peace. We recently loss a close friend, a friend that Morgan grew up with from the age of 2, and this past year has been challenging for her to say the least. Despite the challenges - she has been able to balance suffering and peace in order to lead a life she loves. Let’s get right into it!
