Boston Bruins star goaltender Jeremy Swayman is not at training camp, but it's full steam ahead for the rest of the roster hopefuls.

The Bruins did sign Kasimir Kaskisuo to a PTO, but all eyes are on Joonas Korpisalo and Brandon Bussi, as well as goalie coach Bob Essensa.

The big storylines are also up front, where a trio of Elias Lindholm, David Pastrnak, and Pavel Zacha looks very good.

Youngsters Matthew Poitras and Fabian Lysell are also looking to prove they're NHL ready.

Jeremy Swayman is not in attendance as the Boston Bruins take to the ice for training camp on Thursday.

There's a bunch of smoke out there with respect to Jeremy Swayman and the Boston Bruins agreeing to a new deal as training camp begins today.

The goaltending situation is one big question as camp opens. Even with Swayman in the mix, Locked on Bruins host Ian McLaren wonders who will be his backup seeing as both Brandon Bussi and Joonas Korpisalo require waivers to be sent down to the AHL.

Expect Swayman to play the majority of games, though.
