Luca: Run Away With Me (On A Vespa)

  • サマリー

  • Happy Pride Month yet again bitches! This week, we covered Luca, quite literally the gayest movie Pixar has ever made! Gaia’s voice was mostly gone and our internet was barely working but we still got this episode out especially for you! We kick off the episode with the revelation that Gaia doesn’t know who Joshua Basset is despite being obsessed with Miss Rodrigo’s album, Sour. We discuss the incredibly apparent queer themes in Luca and ultimately decide to run away together on a Vespa (which is obviously the best way to celebrate this month). Neeta breaks the news to Gaia that Luca is, according to Pixar, officially not a queer movie and Gaia’s reaction is so devastating we spend the rest of the episode unpacking whether or not we can still claim it as such, and so much more this week on ‘Bitch, Why?’.

Be sure to leave us a review and email us at b.tchwhy@gmail.com if you have a topic you want us to cover (or just to say hi)! We’ll read them on the pod!
