あらすじ・解説
His voice has been in your car, home, earbuds and at your favorite restaurant for over 40 years. Johnny Burke has been on air around the state of Michigan, since 1980 when he had his first Michigan job in Flint at WTRX. Known to give back to communities as much as provide a much needed morning wake-up, Burke has been broadcasting out of Flint on 103.9 The Fox (WRSR) since 2017 after over 25 years at WHNN in Saginaw. His drive to continue to be for a community rather than a corporation has been a feather in the cap to local radio, as he points out in this podcast.
From Cleveland, Buffalo, Las Vegas, to here, Burke has interviewed nearly everyone from Frank Zappa to Bob Newhart. He spills the beans on the best and worst interviews. He talks about the Michigan legends ? and Ted Nugent on how they can be relentless in their own ways on radio and how Bob Seger and Madonna have eluded him. Burke does not hold back and this podcast takes us from his beginnings to now, and where he hopes to be in ten years. Tune in NOW for some OVERTIME with this awesome on-air personality!
