Should we “craft a future” as Christians? This is a common phrase in the mindset space, especially in business, that you can create the future you want.

But as Christians, should we be doing that and if so, what does that look like?

In short: I don’t believe that we are to craft our own future based on whatever we want but I also think it’s more complicated than it sounds and not that linear.

In this episode, we’re going to talk about the messy middle.

By definition, this is generally the challenging and uncertain period of growth that entrepreneurs face during the development of their business.

Don’t listen to the enemy try to discourage you. Don’t listen to any of those negative thoughts like “I can’t do this, what was I thinking?? This is too hard!”

Today we’re talking about striving. We often hear this in the entrepreneur space, and it’s often used synonymously with hustle but they’re different. (see more in Episode 87 -Listen on Apple ) Striving is when we are working hard with the mentality that if this is going to be successful, then I’m going to make it happen. That the outcome is 100% tied to our effort and how badly we want this.

One of the most common questions I get from clients is “How do I know which way God is leading?” I’ve had that same question a thousand times and I’m sure you have, too. It’s hard to figure out where God is leading us because we come to the table with a whole bunch of mindset drama, and we have to learn how to hear Him and know when He’s leading us to do something.
