Dr. Maura Pezzulla is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2024. Distinguished by her academic achievement, Dr. Pezzulla received honors in serving vulnerable populations, reflecting her commitment to providing compassionate care to underserved communities.

Before dental school, Dr. Pezzulla gained valuable experience as a dental intern with Dr. Lynn Chincheck DDS, who played a pivotal role as her mentor and inspiration. Dr. Pezzulla's interests span general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and pediatric dentistry, highlighting her versatile skill set and dedication to comprehensive patient care.

Hailing from Timonium, MD, Dr. Pezzulla's background includes a love for sports and reading, nurtured alongside her four brothers. Her motivation to pursue a career in dentistry stems from a great experience at her pediatric dentist.

Dr. Pezzulla is enthusiastic about continuing her professional journey with short-term plans to serve as a general dentist in the Navy for four years, and long-term aspirations to own a private practice. She prefers working in a group practice setting, where collaborative care is prioritized.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Pezzulla enjoys yoga, fitness, reading fiction, interior design, and travel. Her community involvement includes rotations at various Philadelphia sites, such as Puentes de Salud, Sayre Health Center, and Mary Howard Health Center, underscoring her dedication to community service.
