Envy is defined by Holman's Bible Dictionary as the "painful or resentful awareness of another’s advantage joined with the desire to possess the same advantage." It can be anything from social standing to a physical possession or even an experience. Envy can be as innocent as FOMO or as sinister as jealousy.

In today's message, we learn how envy can make us like a mindless zombie seeking to consume that which we do not have. It threatens to tear apart our families, break friendships, and endanger our souls.

In James chapter four, we are challenged to become a type of holy resistance fighter and to stand against the evil forces of this world.
