This Sunday, we continue our Lent series, Living Openhandedly, by examining how God’s heart for all people invites us to open our hands to others, even those we have written off or determined outside our box. God doesn’t just save individuals, He forms a new humanity, tearing down dividing walls and building something new. We see miracles all throughout the Bible. As we continue in Acts chapter 9, we’ll encounter two radical miracles—a healing and the raising of the dead. But we have to ask: Why do miracles exist, and what purpose do they serve? Why do we experience them at some times and not others? While the miraculous may feel distant to you today, we’ll see that it’s closer than we think—and that it has meaningful implications for us all.
