The world can be a place of decay and darkness. I am sure you sense that at times. But God has a plan to preserve it and give it hope, and we are a part of that plan! The Beatitudes are Jesus vision for a disciple living in the Kingdom of God under the rule of God. Having looked at the first four last week, we will finish with the final five this week. The first four pointed us to God; these last five teach us how Jesus wants us to love the world around us and the surprising ways the world will respond to that love.
