    2019/10/18

In the third episode of the News Sense, Harry and Chris cover Brexit, Typhoon Hagibis, and the American withdrawal of troops from Turkey. They then proceed to explain in great depth why Climate Change is not a leftist conspiracy, and that maybe gluing yourself to a road isn't the most ridiculous thing.

    EPISODE NOTES:

We shifted format this week! From now on we'll be focussing more on global and national issues, and how they can affect everyday Australians.

This epsiode will also be aired a week late. What can we say? We're human, and one of our hosts had some major health issues. We promise we still love you, and we're not leaving as everyone else does.

If you want to know more about Climate Change, the absolute best source on the web is NASA. They have a compilation of all the scintific communities supporting Global Warming, and they link and source everything. You can access it here:

Harry and Christopher are two semi-educated scallywags who attempt to make sense of society. In the second episode they chat about the environment, drought relief, and legalising abortion and marijuana. • The Importance of Being Economy
    2019/09/13

Harry and Christopher are two semi-educated scallywags who attempt to make sense of society. In the first episode they bring you up to date on Brexit, bushfires, the Catholic Church, and their science-fiction based theories regarding the discovery of a potentially habitable planet. They then proceed to be mystified by the economy for about fifteen minutes.

The podcast Harry refers to when quoting The Guardian is the Australian Politics Live podcast. For further reading on the economy, we genuinely recommend going to the sources section of the Economy of Australia Wikipedia page. For world economics presented in a highly palatable format, the YouTube channel Crash Course runs an extremely wholistic web series on the subject. We get our breaking news from The ABC, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, and The BBC. We attempt to fact check everything we publish, but there will be occasional inaccuracies, simplifications, or misspoken points due to neither of the host being professionals in any of the fields we speak about. This podcast is simply a humorous potential aid to understanding, intended to revitalize interest in current affairs and translate complex issues into fun conversation.
