Change a couple of letters and make it Dutch, because we are back for our sixth season of new/old Wie is de Mol episodes - and we're going back to 2016's offering in the Dominican Republic! Over these nine weeks, three guys who love to message contestants to tell them that they're wrong - Logan, Michael & Bindles - are recapping and looking back at all that happened on a season with quite a reputation in the Mole fan communities, continuing with the third episode and elimination of Remy.
In this episode - we wonder how relaxing a harp alarm clock would be, Logan gives us a cameo timestamp, "social experiment" is a meaningless buzzword, Michael breaks some news about one of our friends, we explain the Circle of Life for being on TV, Logan's Google history is revealed, Anthony makes a cameo in text form, we find some more hints to do with Eminem that have aged horribly, the first challenge has a confusing maximum, we wonder if the "Follow the Money" clue was actually good, Michael gets pernickety about drones, we wonder why Tim was the sacrificial lamb, Taeke gets himself a new nickname, WIDM goes into blooper mode, the episode gets a bit dated thanks to Cecile, Logan ranks his favourite horses, the stars align for us in terms of recording, the "Power over the Test" twist is a bit of a letdown, we explain why WIDM has never cast a trombone player, Michael's First Suspicion is revealed, Logan locks in his third set of suspicions and Bindles looks at what Remy is now up to.
Thank you for listening - we will see you next week for Episode 4!
Please note: This season is intended on being spoiler-free, so please watch the episodes along with us. As with our coverage of Seasons 14 & 17, there are no spoilers due to Logan not having seen the season before. However, any season we have already covered (WIDM 10, 14, 17-24 and Renaissance; België 4-12) is fair game though.
