Hi there! I'm Christina Cherneskey. In this podcast you will learn more about a new program that’s been launched at the Praxis School of Entrepreneurship in Saskatoon called the Self Employment program for people with disabilities. My first guest will be Monica Krueger. Monica is the founder and CEO of Global Infobrokers, which is the home of the Praxis School of Entrepreneurship and the Praxis International Institute. Among her other accomplishments, Monica was recently sworn in as the Chair of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce. In 2020 Monica was recognized as CTV Saskatoon’s Citizen of the year. We’ll also meet Brent Kreuger later in the program. Brent is an advocate of alternative education and works hard to improve the education process. You’ll hear about how he managed to overcome dyslexia and ADHD to become the success businessman and entrepreneur he is today. He is also a principal at the Praxis International Institute. He’s passionate about three things: entrepreneurship, education and the environment. Cody Demarais is from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. This former Praxis grad recently won the ABEX award for Saskatchewan’s Young Entrepreneur Of The Year For 2021. He is the owner and founder of Limitless Gear Clothing, a motivational speaker and a children’s book author. He believes life is limitless and he’s a true inspiration. He talks about his ADHS and his addictions. The Self Employment Program for Persons with Disabilities is taking applications now – this podcast was recorded in December of 2021. The program is expected to begin in January, 2022, and if you contact the Praxis school of entrepreneurship, you can get all the details on how to register.
