• #374: Be Consistent, The Key To Unlocking Your Full Potential,
    2025/09/07

    Send us a text

Consistency is the foundation of success in every aspect of life. Making multiple small, correct decisions over time leads to great results – the same way that going to the gym consistently is the only path to physical improvement.

    • Consistency equals results – not the other way around
    • Success is not a lottery ticket but the compound effect of small, correct decisions
    • The first step of failure is inconsistency
    • Identify your shortcomings by tracking where you lack consistency
    • Create a detailed schedule to visualize gaps and opportunities
    • Balance different areas of life requiring consistency (physical, emotional, professional)
    • Solutions often require adjusting schedules and priorities
    • Three keys to consistency: more time, better organization, and action tracking
    • Use a checklist to monitor progress and reinforce consistent behavior
    • Balance is critical – you can't lean too far in any one direction

Use a checklist, make a schedule, and create more time in your day. I promise you, if you follow these steps, your life will be exponentially changed and you'll be so much more organized.

Self-care isn't just crucial for mental health but forms the foundation for all personal relationships and achievement. Prioritizing your own wellbeing first enables you to show up better for others and pursue your life mission with greater focus and effectiveness.

    • Taking care of yourself first is essential before attempting to help others
    • Creating quiet moments allows your mind to connect ideas without constant external noise
    • Getting up earlier can provide the time needed for self-care activities
    • Psychological wellness is as important as physical wellness
    • Consistency in self-care practices creates compound improvement over time
    • Being just 1% better every day means being 100% better in 100 days
    • Showing up even when you don't feel like it is part of being on a mission

Take a moment for yourself, make time for yourself, and have a mission. I'm Benjo, check me out. Peace.

  • #372 - ALWAYS, Be On A Mission.
    2025/08/30

    Send us a text

Having a mission in life is essential to finding meaning and purpose. Without goals to progress toward, we risk falling into the dangerous trap of merely maintaining, which actually means we're moving backward in life.

    • Maintenance is one of the most dangerous mindsets – in relationships, skills, and personal growth, we're either improving or declining
    • Important areas like comedy and jiu-jitsu provide structure for constant improvement and a framework for setting progressive goals
    • Relationships require active improvement – they're either getting better or worse, never truly maintained
    • Setting increasingly challenging goals keeps life meaningful, like a weightlifter who reaches 250 pounds then adds more reps or more weight
    • Creating moments of true silence helps connect thoughts and gain clarity on your mission
    • Growth creates a positive feedback loop – achievements inspire you and motivate others who witness your progress

Always be moving forward in everything that matters to you – your skills, your relationships, and your personal growth. If you're not actively improving, you're falling behind.

  • #371 - Finding Your Audience, In Stand-Up Comedy,
    2025/08/30

    Send us a text

I recently discovered a game-changing approach to testing comedy material by identifying and targeting people who already share my sense of humor. This scientific method for joke development has dramatically improved my stand-up performance and writing efficiency.

    • Find individuals who already have your sense of humor to test material on
    • Use the scientific method for comedy: hypothesis, test, analyze, improve or discard
    • My ideal audience includes police officers, military personnel, and first responders
    • People with similar backgrounds often share similar humor sensibilities
    • When testing jokes, you only get one true "first impression" with each person
    • Multiple tests with different people help determine if a joke is trending toward success
    • Target your specific audience first – anyone else who laughs is a bonus
    • This approach applies to many pursuits beyond comedy

Thanks for listening to Psychological Warfare. I'm Benji Welldone, documenting my journey to become a professional stand-up comedian while overcoming mental health challenges along the way. Peace.

  • #370 - HIATUS; *Success, & *Financial Freedom - How Bad, DoYou Want It? ..
    2025/08/09

    Send us a text

Life throws curveballs that force us to adapt our routines and test how committed we are to our goals. When my schedule shifted from starting at 4AM to 9AM, I had to completely reimagine my approach to productivity, success, and personal growth.

    • Shifting from a 4AM to 9AM start time requires completely rethinking my established routine
    • True commitment means wanting success more than wanting to complain about obstacles
    • Forced adaptation can lead to new strengths and unexpected growth opportunities
    • Being unstoppable means finding different paths to the same goals when circumstances change
    • Always Moving Forward (AMF) remains the guiding philosophy even when the path changes
    • Success requires flexibility to reorganize priorities and schedules when life demands it

If you're facing unexpected changes to your routine, remember that your commitment to your goals matters more than your attachment to a specific method. How badly do you want it?

  • #369,: How to KiLL, - Procrastination..
    2025/07/02

    Send us a text

Procrastination kills productivity, but there's a science to getting things done that involves understanding our psychology and implementing simple yet powerful techniques to overcome our tendency to delay.

    • The Double-Check Method: Mark tasks BEFORE starting them (and after completing) to signal to your brain it's time to begin
    • Traditional checklists only have one check mark after completion, missing the psychological benefit of commitment
    • Start working on tasks immediately when you have free time rather than waiting until the deadline approaches
    • Create dedicated spaces for your productive work and creative activities
    • Use journals to document successful days and lessons learned
    • Maintain separate records for short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals
    • Review all your goals daily to keep your focus on what matters
    • Schedule tasks according to your energy levels—creative work when mentally fresh, routine tasks when energy is lower
    • Nothing productive tends to happen after 10pm for most people
    • Reserve early mornings and late nights for mindless tasks requiring less mental energy

Try the Double-Check Method today and watch your productivity transform—I guarantee you'll level up in life.

  • #368 - Journaling; To Remember* AND Apply*, in Life,
    2025/07/02

    Send us a text

Journaling through video helps me remember life lessons and serves as additional mental repetition for skills ranging from comedy to martial arts. Speaking thoughts aloud as if addressing an audience allows for clearer thinking and better memory retention than keeping thoughts internal.

    • Martial arts principles from Marcelo Garcia's seminar focus on three key actions: submit, sweep, escape
    • When unable to submit an opponent, work to sweep them to gain advantageous position
    • If sweeping isn't possible, focus on escaping to reset and return to offensive strategy
    • Organizing complex thoughts into simple frameworks makes execution more effective under pressure
    • Marcelo Garcia exemplifies effectiveness through simplicity despite his smaller size
    • Size disadvantages make victories more impressive when embodying true martial arts principles

Remember to capture your meaningful experiences and lessons—whether through writing, audio, or video—to ensure you build upon them rather than losing them to time.

  • #367 - Thursday Holidays: The Workplace Disruption,
    2025/06/24

    Send us a text

Thursdays are the absolute worst day for holidays because you have to return to work the very next day, creating a disjointed break that feels unsatisfying and disruptive to the normal workflow.

    • Holidays should be celebrated on their actual date but observed on Fridays to create long weekends
    • Thanksgiving's scheduling on the fourth Thursday of November is unnecessarily confusing and arbitrary
    • Working for a few days, having a midweek holiday, then returning to work creates a psychological "second Monday" effect
    • The ideal solution would be to keep Monday and Friday holidays as they are, but shift Tuesday-Thursday holidays to Fridays
    • Consistency in holiday scheduling would create more meaningful breaks that connect with weekends

Check me out! I'm Benja Welldone. Peace.
