In today’s teaching, we uncover three major Old Testament themes that reveal Christ as the true dwelling place of God:
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” – 1 Corinthians 3:16
God’s Presence in the Tabernacle & Temple – His glory once filled physical structures, but now dwells within believers (Exodus 25:8-9, 1 Kings 8:10-11).
God’s Promise to Dwell Among His People – Jesus fulfilled this as Emmanuel (God with us), and the Holy Spirit now lives within us (Ezekiel 37:27, John 14:16-17).
Jesus as the True Temple & Cornerstone – Christ is the foundation of our faith, and believers are living stones in His spiritual house (Psalm 118:22, Isaiah 28:16, 1 Peter 2:4-6).
🔹 Live as God’s Temple – Reflect His holiness and presence in your daily life.
🔹 Remain Christ-Centered – Build your foundation on Jesus, not human wisdom.
🔹 Walk in the Spirit – Rely on God’s presence for guidance, wisdom, and strength.
God’s dwelling place is no longer a building—it’s YOU! This truth was foreshadowed in the Old Testament and fulfilled in Christ. Build your life upon Him as the true foundation!
