  • What to Do When Nothing Is Going Your Way
    2024/11/24

How do we know when to make a change and when to accept our circumstances? Is it better to stay in a familiar and safe situation than it is to take a risk on ourselves? Should we fulfill the expectations of our family or live a life that we find fulfilling?

These questions are delicate balances we will each need to navigate in our lives. Finding where the line is between hurting others and hurting ourself can be hard to find. But at the end of the day, we only have one life to live. It's impossible to please everyone. But with kindness, love and compassion we can do anything.

In today's podcast, I share how we can strike that balance. I talk about knowing when to make those big changes, whether it's quitting a job, quitting an addiction, moving to another city, or making a change in our relationships. I discuss how we can find the answer that speaks to our heart and true purpose, how to do so wisely to minimize risk, and how to honor and love the people who have different visions for how we should live our life.

Please enjoy other episodes where I share meditation techniques, tips and spiritual lessons from around the world for peaceful and stress-free living. Remember to subscribe to stay up-to-date.

  • How to Let Go of Negative Feelings After a Bad Day
    2024/11/11

Life moves in cycles. It is the nature of all things. We live in cycles with the sun, the moon, and the seasons. Our life moves in phases from infancy through old age. We have times of high energy, low energy, emotional highs and emotional lows. This is the nature of being human.

When we spend our whole life engaged in doing things, we fail to understand how these bodies of ours operate. It's like we're strapped into a rollercoaster and we have no choice but to go along for the ride without any control or influence on the journey. When we start to pay attention and notice the patterns and cycles, we can prepare for those twists and turns, and even begin to know how to effect them.

In today's podcast, I talk about what to do when we have a low day, why we have low days, and what we can do to prevent them from happening in the first place.

I discuss ways to understand our natural cycles and rhythms. I share how we can deal with the lows, reduce the number of lows, and lift the base of our rollercoaster's platform so that the lows aren't so low and the highs are even higher.

    2024/11/01

There are four common mistakes in our thinking that nearly all of us make and that contribute to our suffering. These misguided thoughts that stem from false beliefs cause us to inadvertently harm ourselves, our communities, and our planet.

In this podcast, I share what those mistaken beliefs are, where they came from, how to spot them, and what we can do about them. I talk about how they block us from becoming truly happy, and what we we can do to overcome those blocks and start living a life of fulfillment and joy right here and now.
