    Since the turn of the millennium, Bonamassa has been cranking out those blistering solo albums through his own label, J&R Adventures. He’s no slouch! With a whopping eleven of those albums hitting the pinnacle of the Billboard Blues chart, he’s racking up those numbers like a true rock and blues maestro! You want soul? He’s got it in spades!

    And oh, the company he keeps! This guy has jammed alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, proving time and time again that he’s more than just a name – he’s a force to be reckoned with.     If You Got A Heartache is the fifth track on Koko Taylor's 1981 blues album entitled From The Heart of a Woman. She let you know that when you've got a headache, a headache powder will ease the pain, but when you've got a heartache, there ain't nothing you can do.

    Koko Taylor was a singer whose style encompassed Chicago blues, electric blues, rhythm and blues and soul blues. Sometimes called "The Queen of the Blues", she was known for her rough, powerful vocals. Over the course of her career, she was nominated for 11 Grammy Awards, winning 1985's Best Traditional Blues Album for her appearance on Blues Explosion.

    Taylor became better known by touring in the United States in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and she became accessible to a wider record-buying public when she signed a recording contract with Alligator Records in 1975. She recorded nine albums for Alligator, eight of which were nominated for Grammy awards, and came to dominate ranks of female blues singers, winning twenty-nine W. C. Handy/Blues Music Awards.
