One in every eight women will unfortunately be diagnosed with breast cancer. Many people have been affected by cancer through a personal diagnosis or been touched by it through someone they love. From the initial diagnosis to the moments of doubt, the physical struggles, and emotional highs and lows, there will be trials in cancer and life that can often seem insurmountable. We explore what faith as an anchor in a storm looks like. Our guest Celeste Gonzales overflows with a confidence that comes from faith alone. Her story will inspire listeners through her powerful testimony of fighting back with the sword of the spirit and hope in God's promises - a constant that never changes.

Celeste Gonzales holds many titles—wife, mother, daughter, preacher’s kid, sister, friend, cancer kicker, author and pastor to name a few—but she is way more than a title. At heart, she is a lover of Jesus and His people. She’s devoted to her family, passionate about the Word of God, the first call to her friends in a time of need, a shopping buddy when her schedule allows, a cook to unexpected dinner guests, a great hugger when you just need a warm embrace and wise counsel to point you in the right direction.

She is the author of You Are Not Who You Think You Are centered on themes of overcoming shame, rejection, negative thought patterns, and finding your identity in Christ and Become: 31 devotions to think different, break cycles, and be confident. She’s addicted to seeing women set free and living their most adventurous life in Christ! She’s been married to the love of her life, Daniel, for 21 years and they have three creative kiddos: Syrena (19), Luke (16), Kya (12).

Pour It Out For Good is now mobilized beyond a Podcast where we share life transforming testimonies via www.pouritoutforgood.com. It is now a .org as well, working alongside Bridge the Gapp NC to bring relief and restoration to Western North Carolina who recently had their lives upended and communities devastated by the unexpected storm, Hurricane Helene. Our guest and partner, Sharon Bollinger - Administrator of Hurricane Relief who along with her husband run Lake James Community Church in Nebo, NC, tells her heart wrenching first hand account of this recent storm. Their new efforts to rebuild the community and its surrounding counties are God-divined.

Our prayer this day "Lord guide our lives, direct our paths, focus our attention and divert our eyes to the needs all around us so that we may be your hands and feet, showing love to our neighbors as you commanded us to do. As we put you first above all else and trust you will provide all relief. Amen."

  • Better Influence
    2024/08/28

As we roll into the Labor Day weekend, our culture invites us to rest from our work. Let's shift the paradigm and broaden our perspective. Might we instead seek the real rest and perfect peace found in Jesus Christ instead, where we align ourselves with His will for our lives and find true balance between our mental, emotional and physical health. Let's go back to His original design where homeostasis 'the self-regulating process by which biological systems maintain stability while adjusting to optimal conditions for survival' is found. A place where our mind, body and spirit fortify so that disease becomes ease, feelings can be felt, trauma can be processed, and joy can begin overflowing with abundance from its source.

  • Who Do You Serve
    2024/05/28

In honor of Memorial Day and those who serve in defense of our nation, we are raising a red flag of warning to start a conversation we hope spreads like wildfire, about the prescription medication crisis that is leading many to deeper and darker places than ever before, including veteran suicide. My husband John joins me to discuss the problem with using meds (and other substances) to fix what isn't really broken. It's past time to acknowledge that a mind, body and spirit approach to healing and reorganizing from the aftermath of war is what we need. Our veterans can lead the way for the rest of our nation to address this national security crisis underway, but it starts here with recognition that the unseen enemy is attacking us from the inside. We are drawing the battle lines and declaring that when we serve Christ, He fights for us.

We are supporting hbot4heroes.org - Healing Veterans, One Breath at a time.

Join us in our quest to heal minds and save lives. Together, we can bring light to those who are walking through the darkest paths for our country. Your support can turn the tide in this crucial battle against TBI and PTSD, bringing healing and hope to our nation’s heroes.

  • Cheers to Freedom
    2024/02/29

February 29th! It's leap year - an event that only happens every 4 years. Let us spend this gift of an extra day in consideration of what we chase after the other days we are given. We're breaking the chains the world has restrained so many of us in - discussing empty pursuits, pornography, marijuana, religions, social media and other self-indulgences. In the end they all point back to the way that makes all the days.

    Cheers to Freedom!

-- Chris Rickstrew is a speaker, Master Coach, and founder of Warriors of God, a company that helps Believers find their calling in just 7 weeks! Chris knows that when a Believer finds their calling, they become a WARRIOR! And he is on a mission from God to raise up an army of Warriors that go out and fulfill the great commission!

When Chris was 27, he got to where he “thought” he wanted to be in life… and it was miserable! He was unhappy, unfulfilled, and completely lost. That led him to downsizing his company, giving away all his stuff, and buying a one-way ticket to Nepal! He spent the next 3 years living in Nepal, Thailand, and Bali trying to find his calling in life. But it wasn't until he started to pursue Jesus that the clarity came! The Lord not only gave him clarity on his calling, but He also gave Chris a brilliant framework to help other Believers do the same! Chris has a “Saul to Paul” testimony and is now completely on fire for God and fully committed to expanding the Kingdom! He has tried everything else out there and can truly say from experience that Jesus is the ONLY way!
