あらすじ・解説
In this episode we travel to the Midwest for our first guests out of Chicago who have a different definition of “run club.” We are joined by Allison Yates & Fernanda Wetzel of Read & Run Chicago. Read & Run Chicago is a chapter of Read & Run Tours. They’re an organization that hosts running events inspired by books set in Chicago, written by local authors. Their mission is to help Chicaogans explore the city through movement (running) and stories (books).
In this episode we talk about:
-Having a book club and a run club in one
-Discovery the history of Chicago through books
-How to create a Read & Run chapter of your own
-The importance of preserving culture & history
-How books and running can bring people together
And more!
You can see more about Read & Run Chicago through their Instagram and website.
