  • Adam Hall - Paralympic Gold Medalist

    Five-time Paralympic medalist and Dunedin-born ski champion, Adam Hall is one of New Zealand's greatest athletes. Despite being diagnosed at birth with spina bifida, he began skiing at age six. A member of the Cardrona NZ National Adaptive Ski Team since 2005, Adam Hall splits his training base between Winter Park in the USA and Cardrona Alpine Resort in New Zealand. Adam Hall has represented New Zealand five times at the Paralympic Games in Torino 2006, Vancouver 2010, Sochi 2014, PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022, taking the gold medal in standing slalom at both the PyeongChang and Vancouver Paralympics. Adam lives in Wānaka with his wife Elitsa.

  • Melissa Stokes - TVNZ Journalist

    While studying at NZ Broadcasting School, Melissa landed an internship and then a job at Prime News'in 1999. In 2001 Stokes moved to Breakfast as the Christchurch reporter, and in 2004 she headed to Auckland to report for TV One's 6pm bulletin. For two years, she was based in London as 1 News' Europe Correspondent based in London, covering stories such as the conflicts in Israel and Syria. She began presenting across several TVNZ news shows in 2010, and in 2019 became the anchor of 1 News' 6pm weekend bulletins. Melissa lives in Auckland with her husband Dave and their two sons.

  • Jamie McDell - Country singer-songwriter

    An Auckland native, musician Jamie McDell spent part of her youth living aboard her family’s yacht with her father, sailing champion Terry McDell. It was during this time that she learned to play guitar, singing John Denver and Jimmy Buffett songs alongside her parents. In her early teens, McDell began to upload her music to YouTube and gained a fan base through social media. At the age of 16, she earned a deal with EMI Music New Zealand after sending them a demo tape. She found mainstream national success with her 2012 debut single You’ll Never Take That Away from Me, reaching number 11 on the New Zealand Top 40.An acoustic EP, All That I Wanted, and her full-length debut, Six Strings and a Sailboat followed, peaking at number eight on New Zealand’s pop chart. In 2015, her second studio album Ask Me Anything reached number seven.  When Jamie’s deal with EMI ended, she left the commercial pop world, opting instead to go independent and travelled to the United States to record in Nashville. Her self-released 2019 album Extraordinary Girl was entirely self-written and more personal than her earlier albums.Jamie’s new self-titled album will be released on 25th February and was recorded in Nashville.

  • Filipo Levi - Former international rugby captain

    Born to Samoan immigrants, Filipo grew up in Huntly before moving with his family to Auckland and then Dunedin where he played rugby for Otago Boys' High School alongside future All Black's Captain Richie McCaw. Filipo's 13 year career as a professional rugby player saw him playing for The Highlanders, Japanese team Ricoh Blackrams, and facing the All Blacks as the captain for Manu Samoa. With a Masters Degree in Indigenous Studies from The University of Otago, Filipo is now an inspirational speaker and has recently authored his first book, 'Tackle Your Success; A Step By Step Guide To A New Life After Sports'.

    A barrister by training, during his 15-year law career Clive Anderson begun stand-up comedy and scriptwriting, before rising to fame as the host of Whose Line Is It Anyway? on radio and then television.Winner of the British Comedy Award in 1991, Clive went on to front ten series of his own show Clive Anderson Talks Back and four series of Clive Anderson All Talk. Alongside anthropologist Mary-Ann Ochota, 2018 saw Clive host Mystic Britain, a 10-part series exploring ancient places and rituals, investigating the strange and sacred beliefs of Britain’s past.Clive took his first solo stage show Me, Macbeth & I to the fringe in 2019 to critical acclaim and continues to present Loose Ends and Unreliable Evidence. In 2021 he started his own podcast My Seven Wonders with Clive Anderson starring famous guests and discussing their own personal Seven Wonders of the World.
