  • #9: Making a $50 Million Real Estate company with Van Hagye
    2022/04/21

Van was the first story guy I met that truly changed my eyes in terms of my potential in CRE. He helped me see that someone as young as 22 can buy multimillion-dollar apartment complexes. He opened my eyes to the syndication model and the world of commercial real estate. We get to talk about some of the things he has overcome and what he’s planning on doing. I find his story to be fascinating due to the fact that he’s such a young guy growing his real estate portfolio in such a short amount of time. He grew from your average college student to cofounder of Zion Cap Group.

Hey, Y'all hope y'all enjoy this episode feel free to tag me in a photo of y'all listening to this episode!

Diego Corzo has one of the most interesting stories I’ve heard! He went from an undocumented DACA “dreamer” to a millionaire within 6 years through real estate. He’s a part of the #1 team in Keller Williams with residential sales, he’s also the owner of 47 doors/units, has 15 AirBnB properties, is a limited partner in 3 syndications, co-founded RatRacetoFI: a mentorship group that teaches how to gain financial independence through real estate. We get to hear the beginning of Diego’s story some of the adversity he has overcome and the grit he had to surpass the adversity.

As a fellow Latino, I see his success almost as a pathway for younger generations such as myself. Echale Ganas Ching0nes!

You get to see the issues we've faced and how they have been overcome. I see a lot of potential with him. The amount of dedication he puts into student housing fascinates me. I think he sheds great insight on why jumping into real estate as a young person could benefit you more than you could imagine.
