Bio: Maisha Thoms Ruff is Managing Director and Co-Founder of Consulting Accounting Management Group. She is directly responsible for firm operations while leading the Tax Consulting practice. She also recently was Global Tax Manager at Arcadia Lithium (fka Livent Corporation) where she assisted in managing corporate tax processes and procedures of Corporate Tax Department's life cycle. Previously, she successfully led the direction of the Delaware IRS community tax program. Before her non-profit leadership experience, Maisha spent 20 years working for Fortune 500 companies in several areas of Corporate Tax in the insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications, chemical, utility, and professional services industries. Maisha knew in 8th grade she wanted to become an Accountant and business owner. Maisha graduated with a degree in Accounting from Drexel University where she gained a strong understanding of the Business Administration curriculum highlighted by a passion for Personal Finance and Organizational Behavior. Her current passion is that of entrepreneurship development where she, at the present, educates many small business owners in entrepreneurship education. Maisha currently resides in Smyrna, DE with her family. She is a Deaconess at the Church of Christian Compassion in Philadelphia, PA under the amazing leadership of Pastor W. Lonnie Herndon and sits on two non-profit boards in Delaware and one board in Philadelphia.
