Today I sit down on an impromptu interview with my brother in law. Through a series of events Tony, his business partner, and his business partners wife ended up staying at our home. Figured since he was here, and he has stories to share, why not get an episode recorded. We ended up sitting in the driveway again, because I didn't have time to get the battery in the bus up and running. Again, this was impromptu and we went with it.

We started recording right about 6pm and he had another interview he had to be on by 7pm, so we made it a quick one. But don't be fooled, just because it was quick, doesn't mean there aren't gems to be had in this episode!

Today I sit down with Darin to discuss some of his life adventures. He brings unique insight into the way he sees the world. We get deep and discuss some pretty big topics. This is an episode you don't want to skip over, because we wade through easy topics like a fun food question, his family life growing up, but we dive into some more serious topics that affect all of us in some way or another.

I am grateful for Darin's willingness to join me and discuss some of these more difficult topics.

In this episode, I interview my brother Mike, who shares his journey of going to prison and how it has shaped him. Mike talks about the violence and challenges he faced in prison, as well as the positive changes he experienced after getting out. He emphasizes the importance of changing one's environment and surrounding oneself with supportive people.

Mike also discusses his spiritual journey and how his experiences have led him to seek God. The conversation touches on the topic of judging others and the importance of empathy and understanding.

He also shares his experiences with the deaths of loved ones and how they have affected him.

Today as we launch "officially" the RedBus Podcast I sit down with a friend of mine from High School. We actually recorded the podcast in the parking lot of Highland High, as a small trip down memory lane.

Amy is an amazing person, with a life full of experiences. I was so happy to sit down and hear a little bit about her story, and come to understand her on a new level.

I couldn't have asked for a better interview to start off this journey into learning about people.

  • Red Bus Podcast Introduction
    2024/07/09

This here is a raw, unfiltered, unedited introduction to the Red Bus Podcast. It is meant to give a little insight into what the podcasts goal and vision is, and like I said it is raw. I filmed it on my iPhone, took the audio from my Rode Mic, and this was all done in one take with no edits. I've been procrastinating long enough and needed to get something up to hold myself accountable.

So without further delay, enjoy this raw take. It was about 90 degrees outside with no breeze and I was literally dripping sweat while recording this take.

I look forward to making some actual episodes and meeting some cool people. Please join me on this journey, and thanks for checking out what I am hoping to accomplish with this podcast.

    Until next time, Peace!
