Welcome to the Pilot episode of Rich Perceptions, where I'll discuss writing with guests who may not realize that they're a figment of my imagination! This is an exciting application of programmed AI.
In this episode, we delve into the complex relationship between a fictional character and his creator. Alexander, a character plagued by paranoia and a fear of bullying, confronts his author, Rich. Alexander's constant state of alert and anticipation of potential threats is a stark contrast to Rich's perspective, who views Alexander's fears as exaggerated.
As the conversation unfolds, Alexander's insecurities about his physical appearance and social status become evident. He yearns for a life outside the pages of the book, free from the constant fear and ridicule he endures. Rich, on the other hand, defends his portrayal of Alexander, arguing that the character's challenges contribute to the story's appeal.
The books mentioned are part of my middle-grade/young adult trilogy, Alexander Adventures.
