  • Have you ever had an injury, ache or pain, or really low energy that couldn't be explained or fixed? One mistake that athletes and sports medicine practitioners make is they don't look deeper into why that athlete is experiencing those chronic symptoms. One very critical factor that leads to either chronic pain, inflammation and injuries or optimal performance, increased resistance to fatigue and the ability to maintain speed and keep your energy up even at the end of the race has to do with something called the mitochondria. In this episode, we cover what your mitochondria are, how you can support them, and a shift in perspective on how you see sport, injuries, inflammation and nutrition.
