SAMSUNG Galaxy A53 5G Review Ghost Image AMOLED Service Repair NIGHTMARE!
My Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Developed a huge dark square in the screen after just some weeks of use. I sent it into repair and received the phone back with the same issue. I chatted with them about the possibility of a replacement phone or store credit, they agreed that it would be likely.
So, I sent it in, and they called me saying that they didn't find anything wrong with the phone, even after demonstrating how to find the problem, they claimed that they didn't see anything wrong with the phone, I talked to them about the possibility of a replacement, so then they indicated that it may be possible for me to receive a replacement device.
Soon later, I receive an email indicating that I would be getting my phone sent back to me unrepaired, I was shocked, so then I called them, and they basically said that the repair department was closed, my ticket was closed and that according to my report, there was nothing wrong with the phone, I talked to them about the possibility of a replacement phone, trade in and store credit, apparently my phone wasn't eligible for store credit, trade-in nor a replacement device, they did however, offer me discounts on their latest gadgets.
The next day, I made a podcast and a recording to unleash my anxiety and warn others against Samsung.
Then, in the late afternoon, I discussed the issue of the phone being sent back to me unrepaired again to Smasung, this time via text, stressing that when I see the word "Samsung" I get stressed, and that I'm going down the path of advising against Samsung via Radio and the Internet, and I expressed that my experience has made me feel less of Samsung and that it is sad because I like Samsung.
The support team member responded sympathetically and responded to me saying that I should ignore that email (the one indicating that my phone's being sent back unrepaired) and that I would be getting a refund or replacement phone, they said that I should get a call from the department in 24-48 hours. The rep also offered me link to deals on Samsung's devices, I figured okay, and agreed to see the link.
The deals were interesting, and the sudden change in the situation was interesting as well. Time would tell if I would receive a callback from the dedicated team regarding my replacement phone or refund.
