According to the scriptures, performing the ritualistic recitation of Durga Saptashati definitely yields the desired fruits. Just as the Ashwamedha Yajna is the foremost among sacrifices and Lord Vishnu is supreme among deities, Durga Saptashati stands out as the most revered among all hymns. It is purifying and grants both worldly pleasures and liberation. Reciting Durga Saptashati a hundred times bestows all kinds of powers. Furthermore, conducting a thousand recitations leads to the attainment of stable wealth and the fulfillment of desires, ultimately serving as a means to achieve supreme liberation.
