Live Interview with Jessica Jlo Perez

Jessica Perez is a 4 th generation native to Tampa, FL who still lives, serves and influences there.

She grew up in a very family centered community that instilled the values of connection,

relationships, loyalty, and impact. After receiving both an academic and slow-pitch softball

scholarships to attend Valencia Community College, Jessica faced a few hurdles that drove her

to become the supersizing woman she is today. While enrolling at St. Thomas University with an

AA to pursue a BA in Sports Administration, she was offered academic and athletic scholarships

once again: this time it was different. She had to learn to play fast-pitch softball (they needed

her defense) and soccer (new program and needed players) as she had never played them

competitively before. This was the beginning of her journey to take on challenges and grow

through them.

Jessica graduated and began her career in education as a Physical Educator/Athletic

Director/Coach in private, public and charter schools for 11 years. She co-founded a Trinity

School for Children in Tampa as well as dove into the non-profit world as a co-founder of

CANDO Sports, Inc over 25 years ago and still serves on their board. From education to local

government, Jessica began a career with the City of Tampa as Parks and Recreation

professional. Her tenure included serving as manager for over 200 staff, overseeing parks, a

marina, community centers, pools, and art studios.

After a great career in both education and parks and recreation, Jessica dove into the world of

entrepreneurism and network marketing. She has become a leader in her publicly traded

wellness company named LifeVantage (LFVN) and is actively pursued to speak, educate, and

lead the charge in growing globally. In addition, she is a certified trainer with the Positive

Coaching Alliance and has delivered over 400+ workshops on the topics of leadership, coaching,

and character development. She is much sought after as a coach, consultant and catalyst for change.
