To save America, we have to be able to recognize where we’re failing. Take a look at our Wall of Shame (and Acclaim), where we call-out people who are failing America – and give shout-outs to those saving it!

We may have a lot of problems in America, but we have a lot of problem solvers too! Take a look at our guests page to meet some of the people working hard to save the country!

    • As if Kamala Harris needed any help losing votes, now it seems that a petulant Joe Biden, unimpressed at his recent irrelevancy, is sabotaging her campaign.
    • Harris’ honeymoon period is over, and in her panic, she’s flinging money around and racist stereotypes. But is she alienating the very people she’s trying – and failing – to reach?
    • A public university in Arizona allowed Kamala Harris access to their student’s contact information so she could text the entire school asking for their vote – and naturally, the students are up in arms about it.
    • The Department of Justice is using OUR TAXDOLLARS to sue Virginia for removing names of ineligible people from their voting registries. So much for a free and fair election!
    • Idaho Governor Brad Little praised Boise State’s decision to prioritize athlete safety and forfeit a women’s volleyball game because the opposing team included a male player. At least there are some sane politicians left!
    • Walgreens and CVS are closing stores and laying off workers, but the reasons behind those decisions are more complicated than they seem.
    • A new documentary, “State Organs,” exposes that the Chinese government sanctions forced organ harvesting of political prisoners. I cannot believe this is happening in 2024.
    • A Michigan brewery named their new beer after the new human who was born in their parking lot. The baby will also receive free beer for life.
    • Lana Centonze has the potential to reshape Houston’s District 18, which wallowed in mediocrity for 30 years on Sheila Jackson Lee’s watch. She discusses how being an immigrant and a government employee shaped and improved her capabilities, and some of the major issues she’ll fight for in Congress, on Saving America!
    • Voting in #Election2024 isn’t only about the race for president, though sometimes the media makes it feel that way! I dive into some other key issues on Houston’s ballot, this week on Saving America!
    • When we think about Halloween, we think about kids in scary costumes. But what about the real-life horrors who waste our tax dollars, commit crimes and allow others to commit crimes? Today I look back on three such villains I’ve featured on Saving America in the past: Katie Couric, Sheila Jackson Lee, and John Fetterman.
    • If elected, Maria Dunn will only serve in Congress for a few short weeks. She dropped in to talk to me about why she feels compelled to run anyway, and how her experiences living in a variety of places and working in the energy industry have fitted her for governing.
    • 3rd party candidates Cornel West and Claudia de la Cruz have been blocked from appearing on the 2024 presidential ballots by the Georgia Supreme Court.
    • Many of the January 6th defendants are already having their cases re-evaluated because of the Supreme Court’s obstruction ruling (which also impacted claims against Donald Trump). Even more of these cases will be disrupted by the new court ruling that finds geofencing warrants unconstitutional.
    • Johnson & Johnson’s famous baby powder has been linked to ovarian cancer, and the settlement is strongly reminiscent of the Johns Manville asbestos settlement of the late 1980s.

    • After a year of war, Israel is taking a more proactive approach in their (largely proxy) war with the terrorists, and cleaning house in the Middle East. The whole world is waiting to see what they will do if (when?) they take on Iran directly.
    • Miffed that DeSantis was too busy actually governing instead of taking her phone calls, Harris decided to crawl out of the basement for a couple of interviews. And what did she go with? Meaningless soundbites on a sex talk podcast and The View.
    • As if Republicans don’t have enough to worry about with the varying poll results for the 2024 Election, the most conservative parts of swing state North Carolina were also hardest hit during Hurricane Helene. This could disproportionately affect the conservative cause.
    • George Soros has asked the FCC to streamline his takeover of 200 radio stations. Regardless of your political position, I feel like it’s blatantly obvious that one entity owning that many media assets is bad for both freedom of the press and democracy itself.
    • Layoffs were up 53% in September when compared to 2023. Regardless of who wins the 2024 election, America may be headed for some tough economic times.
    • Hillary Clinton, Miss Irrelevancy herself, wants to repeal Section 230 because censorship would disproportionately benefit her party. Quite the Bitter Old Biddy!
    • Chinese hackers have stolen information from U.S. broadband providers that was intended for court-authorized wiretapping. We MUST do better at hardening our digital security and computer infrastructure.
    • A rescue dog in Washington state stopped traffic and led a policeman into the woods to her injured 84-year-old owner, saving his life in return.
    • This week I sat down with political refugee turned political candidate Claudio Gutierrez to discuss his history, how that shaped his political ideology, and what he hopes to accomplish in the Texas legislature.
    • Jim McIngvale is a wealthy businessman better known as “Mattress Mack,” and he takes care of Houston residents – and honestly disaster victims nationwide - like no one else. Mattress Mack is saving America.
    • Why is it that every time there’s a major disaster in Texas, we all look with trepidation at the power grid – and yet we do nothing to harden the grid or hold the providers responsible? Centerpoint Energy is failing America.
    • Donald Trump has promised to end the Biden/ Harris administration’s moratorium on the death penalty on day 1 in office. We need this deterrent to fight the recent wave of crime and increase in murders of police officers.
    • Minor political parties and independent candidates have a rough time getting their names on ballots. They sued in Texas over the requirements, and the courts ruled against them using the controversial Anderson-Burdick test.
    • Google is being sued for anti-competitive practices under the 1890 Sherman Anti-trust Act, specifically over its exclusivity deals on pre-loaded mobile software. It doesn’t look great for them.
    • Trump’s campaign has been ordered to stop using music by Isaac Hayes, the latest in a line of legal issues they’ve had with music licensing. There’s an actual process for using music in a political campaign, and I get into it this week!
    • Professor Amy Wax recently grabbed the national spotlight when her comments about minority students went viral. We sat down this week to talk about affirmative action, her being rebranded a racist, and how UPenn first attacked and then tried to silence her.

    • The loss and devastation caused by Hurricane Helene is staggering – and this is coming from the Gulf Coast, where we certainly see our share. I urge all levels of government to act now to help the rebuilding effort. There is no time to play politics on this!
    • America has kicked the government shutdown can down the road, sacrificing election integrity on the altar of fear.
    • Israel is finally beginning to assert itself with organized, sustained attacks against the Iran-backed terrorist groups that threaten it. Will the next step be targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities? Only time will tell.
    • Four years after Trump got the Abraham Accords signed, trade is booming between the Middle Eastern countries in question. Though the accords were signed for economic reasons, hopefully this is a step toward peaceful coexistence in the region.
    • After 2 hard-fought years, Russia has taken the Vuhledar from Ukraine, gaining access to an important railroad line connecting Crimea and the Donbas region. Realists are cautioning that Russia is ahead in the war and unlikely to lose, despite Zelensky’s optimistic claims to the contrary.
    • The VP debate was, candidly, a big yawn. It represents 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back, and was simply irrelevant to the presidential election.
    • China’s newest nuclear submarine sank in its dock, which is admittedly a little funny. But the U.S. must develop a major fleet of nuclear subs, while continuing to advance technologically, to ensure it remains in control.
    • Ford has announced the Support Belt, which is a seat belt accessory meant to help mastectomy patients ride comfortably in cars – and they’re giving them away for free on their website.
    • This week I met up with Mandy Gunasekara, who was Chief of Staff at the EPA under Trump, to talk about why America needed to pull out of the Paris accord, the problem of the Deep State, and the solutions she suggests in her new book “Y’all Fired: A Southern Belle’s Guide to Restoring Federalism and Draining the Swamp.”
    • Consortium News is suing Newsguard & the Pentagon, claiming that their 1st amendment rights are being violated – and their allegations do hold water.
    • It is long past time for America to pivot its primary focus away from mere social trends and back to actual existential issues, such as the increasingly dangerous cold war with China.
    • The Longshoreman strike was set to have substantial economic impact – and miraculously, it’s been delayed until after the election. I smell a rat.
    • Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has been arrested for a litany of serious crimes, including racketeering and sex trafficking, and has been denied bail twice (so far) for fear he’ll attempt to intimidate witnesses. -
    • The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the Republicans, who sued to reinstate a law that requires Arizona voters to provide proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
    • SCOTUS recently ruled that pregnant women in Idaho who are facing medical emergencies can still receive abortions when medically necessary – for now.
    • My guest this week is John Gardner, who went from high school dropout to major manufacturing entrepreneur. Listen in as we chat about his journey, the problem of offshoring labor, and his book “Manufacture Local: How to Make America the Manufacturing Superpower of the World.”
    • In North Carolina, a 16-year-old sued his school after they suspended him for using the phrase “illegal alien” when asking his teacher a question about an assignment.
    • The ACLU used to be an organization that stood up for equal rights for minorities, which is a worthy cause. But it now stands for opposing basic American values, and has long outlived its usefulness.
