  • When we think of boundaries, we often think of boundaries we must set with others. However, some of the most important boundaries we can set are within ourselves in regards to our own mental and emotional energy. Doing so is a crucial aspect of taking responsibility for our experiences and our lives.

    In this episode, Ariel and Brian dive into setting energetic boundaries—specifically, analytical and emotional boundaries. These boundaries start with an awareness of what's going on within our minds and bodies—with our emotions, thoughts, and reactions. As we go deeper into the inner work, we notice certain patterns we keep returning to that feel outdated such as overthinking, ruminating, dissociating, and withdrawing. These patterns once kept us safe but if they are no longer necessary, how do we gently transmute their power into something that better serves us?

    By setting energetic boundaries with ourselves, we can create new patterns that support and strengthen a new way of being.
