    Many civil society groups are jointly organizes a protest this Sunday, 25th August 2024 at Valluvar Kottam, Chennai between 10 AM and 1 PM to demand the safety of women at all workplaces cutting across all the intersections. There is a special Booth for "Not All Men" people as we consider the statement as a Strong Political Statement for Women.

    Major long term advocacy initiatives will be taken up by the organizing Civil Society Groups after the protest.

    Consent means respecting the other person's feelings and their individual personality. It is beyond "asking for permission". The seed of autonomy over the self must be sown at an earlier age, by the parents themselves, considering the dynamics of the family and their practices. The formula is not the same for everyone but the concept is. Consent is the base for creating a safe space for the children to grow. At times, consent can be confusing. We, as adults ourselves, will be explored to new shades depending on the circumstances and that is okay. It is never late to unlearn and re-learn.
