Welcome back to another week of Short Pour! This week we check out another Whiskey Fest hit, Death Apple. It tastes like liquid apple pie and we can't get enough. It's named after the Manchineel Tree, which could get an episode of its own. The back of the bottle is basically just a warning about how deadly that plant is!

With the deadly apple theme, we decided to check out the original Brother's Grimm version of Snow White. A little different than the Disney version we knew. We've got overly obvious names, a mirror that should probably end up on some sort of registry, and an absurdly gullible princess. We joke about the desperation of the prince and the unusually cruel fate of the evil queen. We also end with a quick review and realize neither one of us have ever had a Hot Toddy. This drink might make us look forward to our first one!

Welcome back to another week of Short Pour! We successfully survived whiskey fest and we brought back a few drinks to try out. This week we have our first combination episode with Tom's Town Double Oaked Bourbon and Big O Ginger Liqueur.

Our topic this week is crossovers and we find quite a few along with figuring out the difference between a crossover, a mashup, and a spoof. Of course we have various songs, movies, tv shows, but the bulk of our time is spent on foods! We talk through a few combos that are popularly purchased together. Classical PB & J makes an appearance. We also check out some controversial food pairings as well. Ice cream and Balsamic vinegar is apparently a thing.

We end with a couple of reviews that appreciate the art deco design of a bottle and the flexibility of the other!

Welcome back to another week of Short Pour! We are getting in the Holiday Spirits and will be checking out a few different drinks for the rest of the year as we take a little break from beer. We start off with a cookie flavored brandy that is absolutely delicious. We find a reviewer that thinks it reminds them of a timid hug.

This week we get to learn about Cookie Monster. COOOKIEEEEE! We explore his early start in some commercials and training videos and the word snatch comes up way too often. We also discuss his start on Sesame Street and what it takes to feed him all those cookies! We also get stuck on a sprite pancakes tangent. We end with a few fun facts and discuss how cookies are supposed to be a sometimes food.
