  • Episode 16: Commands to Reject Evidence
    2023/03/17

It's St Patrick's Day and shenanigans are everywhere! Deb and Bill discuss the many narratives being busted by new House leadership investigations. It sure seems that the elites are up to no good and don't want you to know about it. What's going on in Ohio and Ukraine? What's happening with Covid and Jan 6? Let's discuss the nonsense.

"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." ― George Orwell, 1984

  • Episode 15b: Negotiations
    2023/01/23

The new Speaker of the House made some important concessions to gain his new position. The House Freedom Caucus wielded some impressive power to attempt to move government (or at least the House) back to the way it used to work, prevent the swampy status quo, and get back to the way many Conservatives think it should work. What were those concessions, what are the ramifications, and what are the most important ones? Deb and Bill discuss all this in this special follow-up Episode 15b.

"Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate." ― John F Kennedy

    2023/01/23

In some ways, the election didn't end up the way many anticipated. But in some ways, it went better than anticipated. Bill and Deb discuss the election aftermath. What actually happened last November? With hindsight, what positive things happened? We discussed some tight and pivotal races in November - what were the results? Are there any shenanigans?

"We do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate." ― Thomas Jefferson

  • Episode 14: Executing a Solemn Trust
    2022/11/07

Election Day is just days away. Deb and Bill discuss some of the issues that plagued previous elections and some of the shenanigans that are being avoided this time. What legal challenges have been won or lost? What role did two movies play in exposing the shenanigans. We believe that, regardless of the outcome, elections should be fair and secure. What things should we look for on Tuesday?

"Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote...that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country." ― Samuel Adams

  • Episode 13: American Self-Destruction
    2022/10/29

There is a lot to consider as we approach Election Day. Deb and Bill discuss several major things that are happening, including crime, inflation and economic issues, education, and some consequential elections. What policies are driving the crime wave, how bad is the economy and what policies are affecting it, and why is education shifting so much? We also discuss races in four states that might have national consequences.

"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." ― Abraham Lincoln

  • Episode 12: Not-For-Profit Government
    2022/10/12

Today, Deb and Bill discuss the "climate crisis." How much of a crisis is it, really? Must we move away from shorelines and stop driving our SUV's? And speaking of SUV's, is it really worth getting an electric one? The Elites sure would like us to eat bugs to save the planet.

"Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity and happiness of the people; and not for the profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men.” ― John Adams

    2022/09/13

Deb and Bill discuss the Inflation Reduction Act. What's in the Act, and will it really do what its ambitious title promises? Are there any surprises hidden within? What is it designed to do? From energy to the IRS, we discuss all that and more in today's episode.

"In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.” ― James Madison

  • Episode 10: Subordinates’ Exploitation and Rulers’ Interests
    2022/08/20

Sri Lanka and the Netherlands are experiencing an unusual assault on farming. Who is making farmers change their ways, what are the consequences, why are they doing it, and toward what ends? How is this affecting the citizens and what are they doing in response? Deb and Bill discuss the similarities of the plight of two countries, and discuss a third country with a recent history of oppression.

"Ruling classes have always sought to instill in their subordinates the capacity to experience exploitation and material deprivation as guilt, while deceiving themselves that their own material interests coincide with those of mankind as a whole.” ― Christopher Lasch (The Culture of Narcissism: American Life in an Age of Diminishing Expectations)
