Sticks and Taps - Season 2 - Ep. 5 - November 12th, 2021
Hockey talk and a bit of the Irish craic with NHL Historian/Author Liam Maguire and Go Hockey Media's Paul C. Cuthbert.
Today Liam and Paul open up with staying healthy and Senior Hockey before discussing the health of the Senators and lean into a recap of Thursday's games, Zach Fucale's shutout, Boston's emotional tribute to Colby Cave, Draitsatl on a tear, the Duck's Troy Terry and the development of young players. There's also a segway into Ontario drinking laws and Irish weddings along the way
The lads run through the Hockey Hall of Fame class and afterwards Liam takes us back to "This Day in Hockey" about the Maple Leaf Garden and Paul shares a story about his visit to Toronto 30 years ago.
The Irish Connection of the week features Owen "Liam" Nolan and we find out about the time Paul lived in Colorado the year the Nordiques became the Avs and won the Stanley Cup.
Liam closes out the show with a Irish toast to our veterans after Remembrance and Veterans Day and the family of Colby Cave.
Stay healthy! Get it in to ya! Gidday! Slàinte!
