On this weeks episode of the podcast, we do a brief review of three albums that drop this year that is on repeat for myself. Not necessarily the top albums. Not necessarily the most played album but three good albums that I’ve been enjoying so far in 2022.

When we take a look at the current stage of music, hip-hop to be exact we often noticed that there are lotta newbies on the scene. Where do you start? Who do you listen to, is often the question being asked. On today’s podcast we take a dive into Reason as an artist and review his project “There You Have It”, while highlighting some of his great storytelling songs, as we pay attention to lyrical flow. 

On today’s episode, we reflect one of Nas classic albums, “It Was Written” that was released in 1996. This album is arguably one of the  contenders for album of the year in 1996. Mesmerized by his deep lyrical content Nas paint a story that is bigger than your every day surrounding.

As we continue to move forward in season one, we discussed Jay Rock an artist from SoCal who released a series of projects that kept the listeners ears captivated. With projects such as Follow Me Home, Black Friday and Redemption, he always finds a way to elevate his music.
