Hey, I’m Charlotte - wellbeing coach, mum and wife who works because I love my job. I was living the chaotic, distracted life of working a full day, while also managing the emotional and mental load of being a mum - trying to make sure that everyone’s needs were met, while forgetting about my own. I was tired of feeling the ’mom guilt’ of having a job I love knowing that it took emotional energy away from my family. I finally realised that if I was going to enjoy my work and my journey of motherhood, I needed to set boundaries and make choices that would make me feel more in control, healthier and happier so that I could be the coach and the mum I wanted to be. I created a resilience plan that fits ME. A way of being that allows me to ride the waves of life with calm, peace and confidence so that I can focus better, be present and enjoy the moment while also finding some me time in amongst the noise. And I am ready to share it with you! If you’re ready to feel less stressed, be more organised and productive at work so you can be more present at home and in the relationships that are most dear to you, then this podcast is for you!     Being the good mom is exhausting. Carrying the mental, emotional and physical load that comes with trying to do it all and be it all is causing you huge stress and anxiety.

    Good mom syndrome is prevalent all over the world so you are not alone. But it is actually getting you the opposite results to what you want. The stress of trying to be the good mom is making you snappy, reactive and impatient, leaving you feeling guilty, tired and overwhelmed.

    This episode explains why we experience good mom syndrome and gives you the first step out of it. You are a great mom and you deserve to be certain and confident in your role as a mom for you and for your children!

    As a working mom with a career you love and a home that you want to give your best to, you carry so much of the mental and emotional load of life at both places. And sometimes all you want is for someone to do what you ask of them. But when you do finally ask someone to help you, nobody listens!

    ‘Are their ears painted on?’ is something I often wander around muttering to myself! It is so frustrating to feel like you are not being listened to or not being heard, whether this is at work or at home.
